Durable but pricey.

Our family travel quite often and compression bags are a must. These packing cubes are easy to use, really good quality and the zippers glide nicely to compress your outfits. The fabric is light weight and durable to last through years of travel and storage. The different sizes and colors are nice to organize different outfits, undergarments, etc. There are a few reasons why I gave it a 4 star and not a .5. Unless you memorized what you packed what in which color coded bag, you have to unzip each back to find out. I feel the waterproof fabric is unnecessary because people who travel often bring a travel clothes liner so you are not adding extra water weight to your luggage with wet clothing and not to mention the smell of your clothes once you arrive home. It comes with a small laundry bag but it's not large enough for our family. We usually pack a pop up hamper and travel clothes line too avoid this issue. Lastly, the price point is high even if you are getting durable quality.

Good Quality Compression Packing Cubes

Good quality Compression Packing Cubes Set of 6 by Tolaccea. Well-made from lightweight nylon fabric, durable and easy to wipe clean. Zippers slide easily, good sizes for packing clothing and a variety of colors makes identifying the contents very straightforward. The compression gives me additional space to pack some extras which I always seem to need. Great for travel plus they pack-up compactly for storing when I return home. The biggest drawback with this set of packing cubes is the price which is double that of other good quality sets of cubes. Overall I like these packing cubes a lot for their quality and added organization of my suitcase.

Well Designed, Excellent Quality, Packing Compression Organizer Cubes Set

The first time I used compression cubes, I could not believe the difference it made. I used them 10-15 years ago on trips to Europe and Japan. I now need more to fit a 28 inch suitcase for a trip in October. I ordered these because they seemed to be exactly what I will need.

These Tolaccea Travel Packing Cubes Set Compression Organizers are much higher quality than my previous ones. They are made of premium 210D ripstop nylon. Nylon is a durable, water-resistant, synthetic material that is flexible, easy to clean, and holds up well to repeated use. 210D refers to the fabric's denier weight, which is a measure of the thread’s thickness. That means the fabric is relatively lightweight but still quite strong, making it perfect for travel bags. They say that the seams have reinforced, burst-proof stitching. The premium YKK zippers work quite smoothly. They have comfort grip handles. The reinforced edges and support frames will keep the cubes upright, making them easier to pack. These are so much better than the ones I had before.

This set includes 3 XXL and 2 M compression organizers, plus a laundry bag. They can be arranged perfectly to fit in a 28 inch suitcase, which is what I plan to take on my trip. They can be rearranged to fit in other sizes. The laundry bag gives me a specific place for my dirty clothes, so I don’t have to think about it and just put them in at the end of the day. Having multiple organizers lets me divide my clothes and other items I plan to take, and I need about 30% less space with the double-zipper enclosure. This will be especially important on my return trip, as I’ll be bringing some quilts my mother made for my siblings and me. We lost her recently. My clothes will go into some of the bags and the quilts in others. The colors of the bags will make it easy for me to tell which is which when I get home.

Probably the best set of packing cubes that I've found, just at a slight premium!

This is my second set of packing cubes and I have to say that these are pretty high quality. I love the color coding, I love the durability of the zippers and the actual nylon material, and it seems to be very functional. The compression works just as expected and it makes it really easy for a family, especially those with young kids, to be able to travel more effectively and easily. I think this is going to be really helpful and useful going forward.

My only caveat and reason for giving a four instead of five stars is simply the price at nearly $70. This is over three times as much as what I paid for my other cubes and while these are larger and probably of slightly better quality, I feel like this set of cubes should be closer to $50. Nonetheless you're getting a high-quality product so if you travel often and especially with your family, I do still recommend this as I haven't really found anything much better.

Useful even if you don't travel

This is a very interesting idea, little 'interior suitcases' that fit together like a puzzle to fill up a larger standard suitcase.

There are all kinds of ways you might allocate items to these cubes: by person, by function, by condition (clean or dirty), by time (e.g., what part of a trip you'll want something on), and so on. And they're color coded. That makes the set very versatile.

You don't need to travel to use them. They're actually really good for packing away different kinds of clothes (hats and gloves and winter stuff; work clothes to take back out next summer; dress-up clothes; and so on). That's actually how I'm using them.

Each 'cube' has two zippers. One to hold things in; the second to compress them slightly for packing. That's pretty clever, really. I wish sleeping bag containers would adopt this approach!

They're light, so durability might be a concern. But they're made of ripstop nylon, which is pretty tough stuff. And they're normally used inside a suitcase, so they won't be banged around much.

If you want to re-pack them as they came, pay attention to how they're folded, because it's not intuitive.

On the whole, they're useful, attractive, and should prove durable. I just wish they were less expensive.

Good set

These are nice. The quality is solid. They feel and look well made. The zippers are good quality easy to open and close. The issue i have with zipper and it did not hurt the rating but wanted to point out the expansion and open zipper are close together so I often found myself unzipping expansion zip rather then opening. The zippers are even different colors which is good but still the top expansion was naturally what I grabbed first. The overall expanding zip did not really help me get more into the bags. However the capacity and organization of these made packing and finding clothes on my trip easy and convenient easy to pick out clothes as they were in appropriate bags. The bags feel sturdy and durable. The black bag with rolling top was interesting, it held air to well as I tried to close and roll i had to be very focused on pressing air out first otherwise it was like a balloon. I feel the quality and functionality is great and this is great value for the product.

Excellent Quality Packing Cubes for a Quality Price

I'm a long-term packing cube user so I was eager to try these compression cubes. They are a high quality, well made and usefully sized set of cubes. I debated taking off a star for their high price but opted to keep and just note you are getting what you pay for. The material is durable and lightweight and cleans easily with a damp cloth. The zippers are well made and are heavy duty enough for the compression. I really like the use of the bright and easily identifiable colors for either family members or clothing types - one for bottoms, one for tops, etc. I tend to pack a pop-up hamper when I travel so the laundry bag will be a new option for me. I might use it for coats or other larger items! I believe the cubes sizes are good for most people and will bring excellent organization to your suitcase. In fact, with the compression, you might be able to bring more stuff (!) or take a smaller suitcase - even better. Overall, an excellent set of compression travel cubes made with quality materials and zippers at a higher price point.

Packing Made Easy For Family Travel

I personally love these luggage packing cubes. My husband picked them up for our 28?inch suitcase, and they��ve completely changed how we pack as a family. There are enough cubes for each of us to have our own, which means we can all share one rolling suitcase without feeling cramped or disorganized.

I am seriously impressed with these compression packing cubes! I used just the XL bag and two XS bags from this 5-piece set to pack for a 9-day cruise... in a 20-inch carry-on suitcase. That's a suitcase that's normally recommended for just 1�C3 days of travel!

This set also comes with a laundry hamper, which ended up being way more useful than I expected. The bags feel durable, the zippers glide easily, and each one has a handle so you can grab exactly what you need without digging through your whole suitcase.

They're super easy to use. Just fold your clothes flat, fill the bag, zip it closed, then use the second zipper to compress everything down. It really does make a huge difference.

This is a really nice set of packing cubes. They're made of ripstop nylon so they stretch for packing and fold up neatly once you arrive. They close with high quality YKK zippers. Very Nice Quality

These are incredible for packing up for a trip- they look great and organize all your stuff. They even include a bag for your wet bathing suits, or dirty laundry so it is separate from your clean clothes- I like the different colors of bags - so you don not need to search for everything you can just remember the red bag has your panties etc. very nice quality for years of traveling and when you get home you can easily store everything in one bag - I keep it all in my empty suitcase so I don not lose it and it is ready to go when I need to pack again. Different Colors, Different Jobs

Physically, these compression cubes are practically perfect. The ripstop nylon is the ideal weight - thin enough to not add bulk but substantial enough to last a long time. The stitching is flawless, the comfy carry handles are great, and the extended zipper pulls are a nice touch. The cubes fit beautifully inside my 24-inch suitcase, and the compression zippers work super well to squeeze all the air out of your clothes. They are even water-resistant and easy to wipe clean after sitting on a hotel floor.
The struggle for me was entirely organizational. Because you can't see through the cubes, I completely forgot what I put where. I tried using labels, but I kept ignoring them, unzipping the cubes, and peeking inside over and over. By the end of the trip, I gave up and just used the cubes to haphazardly stuff clothes into open spots in my suitcase. However, while writing this, I think I figured out a fix. If I can train my brain to know that "orange means alarm (dirty laundry)" and "blue means relax (clean clothes), these might actually work for me.
