I've tried other travel backpacks in the past, but have always struggled with the fact that nearly everything gets dumped into one giant pocket. As soon as I start using items from the pack, I quickly turns into a disaster
By comparison, this is an amazing pack that doesn't excellent job of keeping things packed and well organized. There are multiple compartments, and the entire pack folds open like a suitcase and then has two halves that can be opened. I recently used this on two different trips - one that was a week-long, and one that was nearly two weeks. I couldn't have been happier with how this backpack performed! In one of the trips, I checked it twice as luggage on Southwest airlines, and the bag came through in great shape. On another trip, I simply traveled with it in the back of my truck, and again it worked so well.
The pack has a variety of pockets, and so many little handy features that make it so easy to use. The quality of every single element is excellent, and the entire bag is well crafted.
Honestly, I would leave this bag seven Stars if I could. I've been in the Amazon Vine program for some time now, and this is hands down one of the best items I've received
I would call this a bagpack, since it is not built like the rest. This is an absolute luxury bag for bringing a "personal item" that has everything you need for a weekend trip. For most airlines, this should fit in the category of "personal item", but strict ones like Spirit might get you, as this is 2" too tall. Being soft, and if it is not overstuffed, it should get through. It does, however expand to quite a bit thicker than you will ever be able to shove under "the seat in front of you", so beware.
I cannot believe this is under $70, as this is a really nice looking, high quality bag that looks like you know how to travel and do it for a living. I love the fold open ability, which makes grabbing the laptop out very easy. Also, I didn't catch this in the ad, but there is a insulated, waterproof pocket to bring cold (or hot I guess) items along with you to skip the expensive, in-flight paid snacks. The pockets all met my needs for a weekend travel, with room for clothes, laptop and power supply, toiletries, chargers and snacks. Also, there are enough small organizers to keep my papers, pens and cards from spreading around. I also like that I could clip my bag tag on wherever I preferred it, as there are so many places with handy little loops. This bag seems to be able to do anything I need. The materials, stitching and zippers are all excellent quality and this bag would not be out of place in a high-end airport shop.

Love this backpack. Great quality. Great space for laptop and clothes. Opens fully like a suitcase. I use several backpacks as I travel weekly and this is the most premium I have now. I think I can use this for a 10 day trip. Great find.
This is a great travel backpack that can hold a weekend or more of clothing. This is perfect. The compartment is good design of the buckles. It’s perfect. It’s padded for your back. I’m gonna keep this.
